District's Alliance Women
Goals
PRAYER
 | Promote/encourage consistent prayer for district
missionaries. |
| Promote one day (or meal) a week for fasting and
prayer for district missionaries. |
| The
District Committee commits to fasting during lunch every Monday to pray for our
missionaries. |
| Set aside a time during the annual retreat to
surround the missionary guest(s) with group prayer. |
| Encourage each Alliance Women's group to have a
Concert of Prayer before Missions Conference. |
| Hold Concert of Prayer or Prayer Walk at annual
retreat. |
MISSIONS
| Encourage use of available resources, such as
Yearbook, Alliance Life, Alliance Video Magazine, Missions Mobiliztion,
newsletters, ACMC material, etc |
| National Project Goal: $22,000 "Life in
Living Color" |
| Encourage each church to participate in, and give
beyond, the outfit call. |
| Educate churches about what "outfits"
are. Use Skit. |
| Encourage MK involvement. |
OUTREACH
| Encourage ladies to bring friends to local
meetings, rallies and retreat(s) |
| Heavily promote the 2004 Spring Retreat.
Attendance goal=275 |
| Challenge each church to have an outreach event
this year. |
FELLOWSHIP
| Encourage attendance at annual retreat and area
events. |
| Have 30 churches represented at District Retreat. |
| Promote growth in rallies and retreat(s). |
| Provide genuine fellowship at the annual retreat. |
LEADERSHIP, TRAINING, AND PROMOTION
| Each Area President, along with District
Committee memebers, hold Leadership Training Workshops after Council in summer
or early fall, as deemed necessary. |
| Alliance Women Ministries display table at
District Prayer Conference. |
| Monitor district moneys due. |
| Start new Alliance Women's groups (Beefhide,
Bowling Green, Virgie, Faith Community, Frankfort) |
| Find and train women to serve in leadership
positions on the local, area and district levels. |
| Activate an Alliance Women's group in every
church. |
| Be available to help any church in the District
and the inactive areas to become active in the ministry of Alliance Women. |
| Encourage women to visit the District Alliance
Women website. |
| Encourage each local AW president to meet with
her pastor to discuss new organization format. |
