Missionary Kids Services
What are MKs? They are missionary kids- the children of missionaries. If their parents have chosen an Ohio Valley District church as their sending church, the MKs are then "adopted" by a district Alliance Women's group.  Groups adopting an MK assume the responsibility to send gifts at birthday and Christmas time; communicate with and pray for their MK and parents; publicize and promote their MK within the local church; contact their MK during home assignment.  At present there are fourteen MKs who have been adopted by Ohio Valley District Churches. Only one MK is assigned per church .

Outfit Calls

Outfit assistance is given to our district missionaries.  It is designed to help provide both household and personal items for each term of service.

Prayer Line
Don't forget to pray for our missionary friends working in sensitive areas.  While not listed on our Prayer Line, they need prayer perhaps more than the names that are printed.

District Missionary Candidates
Missionary Candidates are those people who have been approved by the Division of Overseas Ministry and recognized as preparing for careers as Missionaries.
